So, you have decided to get your new puppy! CONGRATULATIONS! After the initial excitement wears off for a moment…your next thought is, “Okay! So what do I need to get so we will be ready to bring our puppy home??” This is a checklist of basic needs. Most come highly recommended from new puppy “parents” and from our own personal experiences. (One should always be flexible and make your own decisions based on personal circumstances-thus this is meant only as a guide to get started.

Your goal on your puppy’s 1st day in its new home is to have everything all set up and ready to go. That way all you have to do is relax and spend your time getting to know your new little “fur baby!”
